Chelsea won the Champions League in 2012, but where are their stars as the current team prepares to face Atlético Madrid?
But where are those broken players now? What have they achieved since that great night in 2012?

This is Chelsea's brilliant 2012 Champions League championship.
Since then, Chech has been involved in hockey and grinding in the rink. His goalkeeper skill has since returned to Chelsea, where he is now a technical/performance adviser and emergency goalkeeper.

Perhaps the most obvious post-match track is Lampard's departure from Chelsea as a player in 2014. He initially signed a two-year contract with New York City Football Club, which will start the game in January 2015.

It was later revealed, however, that he had never signed a formal contract. Instead, he spent the 2014/15 season with Manchester City, the mother club of the second MLS New York team.
Lampard finally joined the New York FC at the end of the 2014/15 season. He went through a difficult period in the United States and retired after only 18 months in New York in February 2017.

Orior Romeo is a talented midfielder whose career was damaged by a bad knee injury. He has never played completely in Chelsea.
He was loaned to Valencia in the 2013/14 season. He was then loaned to Stuttgart for the 2014/15 season, and then signed with Southampton for £5 million in 2015.
Romeo has since found a foothold on the South Coast and has played for the club more than 200 times. He is currently a regular visitor to the first team under Ralph Hassen Huttel.
Florent Malouda, like Kalu, is a versatile and reliable offensive player who has been a servant of Chelsea for the past year.
Malouda ended in a sour note at the club time. He went through a difficult 2011/12 season and tried to leave forcibly in the summer. He was finally released in 2013.
After leaving, he spent some time in Turkey, France, India and Luxembourg, where he retired. He then joined Zurich as coach in early 2019, but was released only two months later.

After that, Streich has been trying to rediscover his best state.
He was loaned to West Bromwich Albion for six months, ending the 2018/18 season and defeating Chelsea in his third appearance for the club.
Sturit finally left Liverpool in 2019. He signed a three-year contract with Trabzonspor before its release in March 2020, and scored 7 goals in 16 appearances.
It was revealed that he was suspended from the world for four months for violating the betting rules. Stritch still doesn't have a stick.
